Job: Youth and Children’s Pastor

Pay: $6500 per year (part-time)

Description: We are looking for a committed, Spirit-filled, Christian leader with a calling to lead youth and children in discipleship. An ideal candidate would be one who can work well with youth, children, volunteers, and parents.

Responsibilities:

Leading the church’s efforts to minister with and to youth and children between the ages of 5-18.

Leading youth events and children’s events on rotating Sundays (details can be discussed on hiring)

Recruiting volunteers to work with the church’s children’s and youth ministries.

Work in conjunction with committees in the church to create an effective learning environment, as well as develop a budget for the youth program.

Working to create lessons that fully consider God’s Word and the spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional needs of the youth and children in our community.

Teaching the youth and children of the church the Bible with compassion, care, and conviction.

NOTE: This position can be split between youth and children.

Requirements:

Candidates must be 21 or older and able to pass a background check. Must have own transportation to and from church. Youth and Children’s Events are usually held on Sunday Afternoons.
